The sensation from radiofrequency and/or ultrasound treamtent will vary from patient to patient. With radiofrequency, most patients only feel some heat—but nothing uncomfortable. Ultrasound therapy may be a little more uncomfortable for some. Whereas some patients describe it as a “mild tingle”, others report more significant discomfort.
