What to Expect During Treatment

Before your treatment begins, your face will be cleansed and numbed with a topical anesthetic (if needed). Usually Juvéderm® Voluma and Radiesse® are used, but the exact type of filler to be used will be chosen during your consultation. If facial fat transfer is being done, then liposuction will be performed first to obtain the fat. Once the fat is collected from another part of your body, it will be purified and placed into a syringe so that it can be injected into the needed areas.
