The Beautify at AMS Approach

to the Non-Surgical Facelift

Performed by our specialists at our medical spa in Chicago, liquid facelift treatments are typically quick and convenient, lasting anywhere from 15-45 minutes. Your skin will be cleansed and prepped, with a topical anesthetic being applied if needed. We may also mark your skin to act as a blueprint for guidance. Once you’re ready, your aesthetician will administer a series of injections into pre-chosen and previously discussed areas of the face. You will feel some pressure or slight pinching, but treatment is very tolerable.

Using Sculptra as a base for collagen production, we will use thicker dermal fillers for substantial volume increase or noticeable lifting in areas that may be falling or drooping. Following up with softer fillers, we then focus on the finer details which include filling hollows beneath the eyes, improving fine lines and wrinkles, contouring chin creases and dimples, and enhancing the lips.

For patients with severe volume loss, facial trauma, or scars, we use silicone-based fillers and Bellafill for significant, long-term improvements. When used steadily and strategically, dermal fillers not only plump the skin, but also achieve incremental enhancements in facial sculpting.

Recovery

Compared to recovery from a surgical facelift, recovery from a liquid facelift is very simple. As with any injectable treatment, many patients experience some bruising, swelling, and/or redness at the injection sites for about 24 hours following the procedure. You should avoid rubbing your face for a day or two, and in addition avoid exercise, sun exposure, and tanning for one week. Within 7 days of receiving your non surgical facelift, Chicago’s attractions and all of the activities it has to offer, will be yours to enjoy.

Results

Most dermal fillers deliver immediate results, so you shouldn’t have to wait long to see the outcome. For neuromodulators (Botox and Dysport) and treatments that come from your own body (PRP and stem cell therapy), results take longer to appear. Every injectable will have its own onset and longevity, and during your consultation we will be able to tell you what you can expect. Because the results are temporary, many patients decide to have touch-up treatments as needed.
